Imagining Climate Futures

ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

This campaign is fisically sponsored by Florida Community Innovation, for the Climate Futures Studio. Stay on this page to donate, and learn more about the Climate Futures Studio here: www.climatefutures.art Over the last two years, Climate Futures Studio has provided cost-free, regenerative climate storytelling curriculum, programming and expertise to 31 frontline, young artists worldwide. Our programming has engaged over 1000 people in person and our online presence has reached hundreds of thousands. The 18 original works from the 2025 cohort of Climate Storytelling 2075 artists are currently on exhibition in New York City. An exhibition with works from the first two cohorts will open in April 2026 during LA Climate Week. The opening for the New York exhibition was attended by over 400 people. With the growth of the program, we have increased costs to install and share this collection of work. We are appealing to our community of friends, allies, and collaborators to help us raise the money we need to exhibit this cohort's remarkable work at the caliber their visions deserve. The second cohort of Climate Storytelling 2075 brings together a radically multidisciplinary group of emerging and young artists, scientists, and storytellers from around the world. Their projects envision a sustainable 2075 through a diverse range of mediums - including animation, photography, data visualization, film, speculative fiction and garment design, music, and sculpture - each deeply rooted in cultural heritage, intersectional perspectives, and environmental justice. This cohort is uniquely positioned to create expansive and transformative narratives by bridging science & storytelling, centering Indigenous & ancestral knowledge, and innovating across disciplines - from sculpture in collaboration with plants to speculative farming uniforms to jazz compositions and tactile, celebratory dances. This in-progress anthology embraces a radical hope in our collective climate future. In blending history with speculation, and personal identity with global systems, this cohort is crafting visions of 2075 that are as urgent as they are inspiring.
